As all four officers of the current Athletic Booster Board will be leaving their positions next year (due to children graduating or will have already served their 2 year appointment), we need parents willing to fill those positions for next year. The best way to get a feel for how the club is run is to be an “incoming officer” and attend our monthly meetings and just listen in.
The athletic program at BHA is supported and managed by the Booster Club. Past parents have worked hard to create and maintain the Booster Club and the athletic program will not thrive without the Club. The school simply cannot and will not fund or manage the program.
The Booster Club Board Members meet once a month (usually via Zoom!) with the Athletic Director to conduct the Club’s responsibilities. The meetings typically last about 30 minutes. Average time spent per month: 1-3 hours, depending on duties.
Officers and their duties: NO experience necessary, you will be trained on all duties
· President: executive officer, conducts and organizes meetings, communicates with coaches and athletic director
· VP: Manages the Club’s e-mail and website
· Secretary: prepares agendas and records notes for each meeting
· Treasurer: manages the financials using QuickBooks and Excel, files taxes
